  1.  Our Motto: Remove fear of Maths from mind of your child

Mathcruise was established with the motto to remove fear of maths from the minds of young kids. Maths is a beautiful subject and a life skill, and it is sad that today most kids are afraid of Maths in some form. Our fun-based teaching methodology ensures to remove any kind of fear from children’s minds. Instead of short term learning, we focus on long term goals so that kids love the Mathematics subject throughout their life.

  1.  Assessment Based Learning – Genuine guidance based on needs of the child

You will be surprised to know that at Mathcruise we frequently say NO to the parents requesting admission into Abacus due to multiple reasons like below.

  • If we feel that a kid is too young and he does not understand the numbers from 1 to 10 or the basic fundamentals of addition and subtraction, then we ask the parents to wait for 6 months instead of rushing to the admission.
  • If the child is lacking the foundation of school maths then we advise parents to first ensure they work on building the foundation first, since Abacus is a supplementary course and can be taught anytime until the age of 15 years. But the child must be fully up to date with all concepts that he is learning in school.
  1.  Money Back guarantee

We don’t just say it, we actually refund your money if you are not happy with the results. In fact in some cases we have ourselves refunded without parents even asking for it, since we regularly assess the progress of every child. Despite our best efforts, if the child is not able to progress as per our expected standards, be rest assured we will ourselves ask you to take a break and refund your money since we value every penny that you pay to us as fees. The only precondition is that the child must be attending the classes and doing homework regularly and despite this if we feel the results are not coming, we will happily refund your fees.

  1.  Focus on Learning, not Advertising

Being a startup, we do not have huge funds for paid marketing or digital advertising like some of the big brands. Our Mantra is simple, focus on quality education and let our results speak for us. Which is why we take pride in displaying our Google reviews on our web portal and all our admissions are either via organic Google search, or via Word-of-mouth publicity where existing parents recommend us to their family and friends.

  1.  Highly Qualified and Internationally certified trainers

chief trainer Meenu Gupta

Our chief trainer Meenu Gupta is a Math expert and has a passion for Maths. Her motto is to spread love of Maths and remove fear of Maths from young minds. She also holds an international certification in Vedic Maths and is listed as a certified trainer @https://vedicmaths.org/community/tutors. Note that there are only 100 such tutors all over the world since its not an easy achievement to clear the Advance Vedic Math certification from vedicmaths.org under guidance of Sir James Glover and Ken Williams.

  1.  Individual attention in small batches

At Mathcruise we always form small batches so that we can give individual attention to each and every student. The Abacus online classes are typically one hour long. We take a maximum of 6 students in a single batch and our teacher covers every student turn wise 10 min each. In many big training schools you will find that they enroll 30-40 students in a single batch as a result of which it is practically impossible for the teacher to gauge if the child is actually learning or not. You may find our fees a little higher than others, but is it not better to pay more for less time, instead of keep paying less but for much longer time and that too without effective results. We teach in 1 year what other schools generally take more than 2 years. Decide for yourself.

  1.  Clear and simple curriculum for all 9 levels

Our curriculum is clearly defined across 9 levels and is also listed on our website. We do not promote the child to the next level unless we are confident that he has a good hold on the current level. At the end of every level we do a thorough assessment (via online examination) and sometimes we also ask the students to repeat the level if he has major gaps. Many other Abacus schools simply keep promoting the child to higher levels and we have observed that students badly struggle in such cases. Just like schooling where a child in second grade must clear the examination before being promoted to 3rd grade, at Mathcruise we ensure that the child has effectively learnt the current level before promoting him to the next level. Even if it means losing out on our fees of next level.

  1.  PULL Learning model (instead of PUSH)

At Mathcruise, children look forward to attending every class. Our Unique Teaching Methodology ensures that all live classes are interactive which means kids actively participate in conversation. The trainer establishes a strong bond with every child so that it does not look like a boring math class. We make the students practice questions in a fun-filled way where kids compete with each other in a healthy way. We all know that if the kids enjoy the classes, they will eagerly wait for the next class and 50% of the battle is already won at this stage. While this sounds easy, in reality it needs a lot of effort and experience to engage children in positive learning and this is where our experience and expertise comes into play.

  1.  Copyrighted Books

  • Copyrighted BooksYou will be surprised to know that most schools do not have copyrighted books. They either borrow or purchase from other vendors, simply because they do not have experienced teachers to develop their own books.
  • Mathcruise team has invested 10 years of effort in developing our specially designed Abacus books. We have registered copyright for our books, and they are beautifully designed in such a way that its very easy to follow for both students and parents.
  • Since each Abacus level is for 3 months, our books follow a consistent pattern. Each book is divided into 12 weeks, so its very easy to follow the weekly topic. As a parent you will always have clarity on how we are progressing against the defined curriculum. If the teacher is on week-8 in class but your child has only completed a homework book until week-5, you straight away know that he is 3 weeks behind and we can take corrective action. Isn’t this the simplest way to track the progress of your child?

Mathcruise team specializes only in Maths courses. We offer all kinds of Math courses, be it School Maths or Vedic Maths classes or even preparation of Math Olympiads. When parents approach us for Abacus for kids, instead of blindly enrolling into Abacus classes we conduct an assessment where we identify the learning needs of the child. We provide genuine guidance and suggest the right course for your child. Many times instead of Abacus, we suggest first focusing on school Maths, or Vedic Maths if the child already has a good handle on arithmetic calculations.

Sometimes the kids are already enrolled in multiple sports or music classes, in which case we ask parents NOT to overload the child. In such cases we advise them to complete those courses first and then enroll with us after a few months (even if it means losing out on our revenue), because if the kids are overloaded it will lead to unnecessary stress which every parent must avoid. It is important to give breathing space to kids and let them enjoy their childhood.

If you join the Mathcruise family, be rest assured that every minute of your kids’ time and every penny you spend will be best utilized. We never take shortcuts, so you will not get overnight results and need to be patient, but we promise to make the Math foundation of your kids so strong that Math will be their favorite subject within a few months, rest assured!
